By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

A Lot Goin On

Well, after a long process of figuring out whether or not I'm going over to visit Alex, I finally received a concrete answer. I'm heading over there for the wedding and to visit the family. I'm so excited! It's starting to sink in and become more of a reality. It's insane how much I actually care about her. I mean I've only actually seen her in the flesh 3 days. We have Skyped and talked on the phone for a hundred hours or whatever, but there seems to be some amazing connection we have. It feels like the right thing to do even though so many people are telling me I'm crazy. I definitely feel like it's the right thing to do.

In other news I'm already bored of the Seahawks, but will continue to root for them because I am a diehard fan. King Felix is probably be shunned from the AL Cy Young again even though all his numbers are better except for wins, which he has no control over with such a sh!tty team. I am about to start my quest of making a Spartan Mark IV armor suit for myself. I've purchased the first set of materials to begin. This will be interesting!!! Work is going well and I'm staying very busy. I can't wait for Thanksgiving when all my family is coming up to Spokane! It's going to be great! Hope Alex can make it over.

Halloween

A few weeks ago I was in the Caribbean, and the met the most amazing girl. It's crazy to think how much I care about her in such a short amount of time. There isn't person I'd rather be with. After a hundred plus hours of talking on the phone and Skyping, we decided to meet up. I'm flying over to visit her for the Halloween weekend. We spent hours talking about all the costume possibilities there were for couples. We came up with King Leonidas and his queen, Batman and risqué Robin, Han Solo and slave Leia, and a ton others. The final decision was Han Solo and slave Leia, which I cannot wait for. She's going to look great!

I continued to look around and have been doing some research on creating a Spartan (Halo 3) MIV costume. I have the 3D designs and I cannot wait to start making the helmet. When I showed my girl a picture of a female Spartan costume, she immediately decided it would be awesome to make one. So I guess the goal for next year's Halloween will be Halo themed. Hope the costume goes well. I can't wait to start!!!
